Figure Baby Review

While all of us are in search of something from the Internet, not all of us are looking to get off. Some of us want a more erotic than pornographic experience and sites like Figure Baby fit right in with steamy erotica.

Primarily a nude model site, the photographer invites you in for simple, sexy fun. Certainly, when I land on the members' page, simplicity is something I immediately notice. The design is very clean. There are a couple of recommended sites, but mostly you'll find exclusive content on this introductory page. There's a brief welcome message, an invitation to submit comments and you'll find the most recently added and upcoming photosets prominently profiled.

As you scroll the page, you will also find thumbnail photos of archived sets and at a glance the photography does look very simple. It's not too difficult to find content. You can search the sets by date and from oldest to newest or vice versa, or from A to Z or Z to A. There is also a list of models so that you can easily find all of the sweeties' photos. It looks like there are supposed to be model profiles and indeed it would add a more intimate dimension to FigureBaby, but other than a profile picture, there were no details about the babes.
There is a blog area and I'm happy to report that the photographer keeps up on it. Some of the blogs are about site news, some about the models or the photoshoots and some find the photographer just shooting the shit. I liked that it was available, but other than this there aren't any extras or bonus sites with the membership. Of course, it's not as if the membership is expensive. Far from it. Figure Baby is very reasonable at the promoted summer rate. Whether or not the price will go back to normal in the fall is beyond me.

Anyhow, we're left with exploring photos and this is the main feature of the site. There are 89 sets at the moment and the good news is that a new set is added every few days. Each entire set of around 75 photos can be download in a .zip or viewed in a slideshow. If you only want individual pictures, then no problem, you can download your favourites one at a time. Each set has a description and there are three photo sizes you can choose. By far the best images are the 2400x1600 ones. Some of the chicks are very sweet looking and the photographer seems devoted to capturing natural beauty. The chicks are amateur models and they aren't picture perfect glamour or high-fashion models. These are everyday type babes, but all of them are unique in the sense that they are naturally curvy. They aren't plump, though.

While there are always sexy and different outfits and there are sometimes location shoots, many of the photos appear to be taken in-studio and against a white backdrop. The photo clarity is fabulous and some chicks are definitely lookers, but I wasn't really blown away by the photography. As promised, the pictures are simple. The fact that the camera keeps focussed on the nude bodies and not on props or lingerie exemplifies their simplicity. Also, some are genuinely fun as babes make playful gestures and expressions or are caught in the middle of a belly laugh. Still, I just didn't really feel anything other than the sets were a nice collection of curvaceous gals.

Final Verdict

There is enough photo content to make this site worthwhile, particularly if you're a fan of erotic photos of nude, largely everyday chicks. The blog is a nice touch, but I felt I needed more than a blog and photos to keep me interested. Perhaps some commentary on how the photo shoot went or perhaps some videos documenting the shoots would add a bit of colour and character to the site. Still, Figure Baby does offer a good price that I felt reflected what the content was worth at the moment.
